Privacy Policy

Ki Tov Limited ("Ki Tov", "we", "us") is an IT consultancy and software engineering company in Nigeria. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website and mobile app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
- Booking details: your full name and email address when you book a free discovery session or a paid consultation, and your brand or business name for a paid consultation.
- Session content: text chat messages exchanged during a consultation. Live audio and video calls are sent directly between your device and ours; we do not record them.
- Technical data: your IP address at the time of booking, which we keep in our booking records for security and troubleshooting. We do not use it to decide whether you can book.
- Payment status: for paid consultations, whether a payment succeeded and the payment reference. Your card or bank details are entered on our payment provider's page and are never seen or stored by us.
- Messages you send us: anything you include when you email or message us about a project.
Why we use it
- To run your consultation: create and manage your session, connect the call and chat, and email you your session details.
- To confirm that a free discovery session has been used once per email address, and to match a paid consultation to your earlier discovery session by name and email.
- To take payment and confirm it.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse and fraud.
- To respond to enquiries and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our legal bases are performing the service you ask for, our legitimate interest in running and securing it, compliance with the law, and your consent where we ask for it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us deliver the service:
- Flutterwave, our payment provider, for paid consultations.
- Our email provider, to send booking and session emails.
- Clearbit: when you enter a brand name for a paid consultation, we send that brand name (not your personal details) to Clearbit's public company-suggestion service to work out the consultation price.
- Google: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and calls use a Google STUN server to help connect devices. These services may see your IP address.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store our data on our behalf.
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it or where needed to protect our rights.
Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses your browser's session storage for small conveniences: it remembers your current session ID so that refreshing the page returns you to your consultation, and it remembers if you dismissed a banner. This clears when you close the tab. In the mobile app, reminders (for example, when a rescheduled session is ready) are scheduled on your device itself; we do not use a push notification service.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and session records for as long as needed to provide the service, handle follow-up questions, and meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymise them. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires.
Security
We use encrypted connections, restrict access to booking records to authorised staff, and store admin passwords only in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure, so please take care with what you share in a chat.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave. Email hello@kitovlimited.ng and we will respond within a reasonable time. Note that deleting your email from our records may allow the free discovery session to be used again. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will make that clear on the site.
